MUMBAI - Popular on-screen Bollywood couple of the 1990s, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit are all set to return after 18 years. According to Filmfare, the duo will begin shooting for Indra Kumar’s adventure comedy, "Total Dhamaal".
“All three of us are shooting together 26 years after 'Beta' and I’m excited about reuniting with my blockbuster jori. I remember a week before the film’s release, we picturised 'Dhak Dhak'. It was a last-minute addition and it created history. We were all blown away when we saw it for the first time,” said Kumar.
The director also added that Kapoor and Dixit play husband and wife in the film and have been preparing for their roles for a while. He stated, “I can’t reveal any details except that Anil goes by the name of Avinash and all of us call him Avi.”
Kapoor and Dixit will be shooting for the film for the next 15 days. Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffri, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Mishra and Pitobash will be joining the duo as well. - Agencies
