Los Angeles — On a day of sadness that saw Kim Porter laid to rest, one of her biggest celebrity acquaintances posted some touching tributes to the late model.

Grammy-winning singer Beyoncé posted a series of touching tributes to Kim as she including throwback photos of the former actress, when she was in her formative days.

Sharing with her 120 million Instagram followers, Beyoncé showed that her thoughts were with Kim Porter and her family as the 47-year-old made her final journey to her Georgia hometown.

The first throwback photo that Beyoncé shared, appeared to be a pic of Kim taken from her yearbook.

Family members and loved ones gathered in Columbus, Ga. Saturday to lay Kim Porter to rest. Porter, a model and actress, died unexpectedly in California Nov. 13 at age 47. Authorities say she went into cardiac arrest while fighting flu-like symptoms. Porter was a Columbus native. — Agencies
