Jeddah Food Festival woos residents and visitors alike

— With the presence of around 6,000 people, the third edition of the Jeddah Food Festival was inaugurated by Mazen Batterjee, Vice-President of the Jeddah Chamber in the presence of the Secretary General of the Chamber, Hassan Dahlan, officials of the Chamber, a number of officials, businessmen and media people.

After the inaugural, Batterjee said: “The beautiful atmosphere of Jeddah and the wonderful climate that it enjoys, gives more delight to the various pavilions of the festival, all of which are recreational means that meet all the needs of the Saudi family during school holidays and enhance the status of domestic tourism with Jeddah›s great potential as an international shopping center, a forum for all tastes and an attractive market for all local and international products.”

The 11- day festival includes artistic and recreational performances as well as various events, along with the most delicious food and drinks, held in a pleasant atmosphere.

Batterjee stressed that the Jeddah Chamber is the main engine of all economic, tourism and investment activities in Jeddah, under the guidance of the Governor of Jeddah, Prince Mishal Bin Majid Bin Abdulaziz, pointing out that the Jeddah Food Festival took its place on the map of events for the bride, which is full of activities throughout the year.

Chairman of the Organizing Committee Khalid Nakhro confirmed that the great attendance of the first two days of the festival proved the success of the events, which included theatrical performances, a number of performing groups, social media celebrities, laser shows and teaser art, with the most famous restaurants and Saudi and international cuisine, which was the focus of attention of all members of the Saudi and Gulf family.

The Jeddah Chamber and Renad Arab Group for events were keen to present diverse and dazzling activities as a basic slogan for the current edition.
