JEDDAH — Popular American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey is coming to the Kingdom.
Known as “songbird supreme,” Carey is set to perform for the first time in Saudi Arabia next Thursday (Jan. 31). The show, which will take place in King Abdullah Economic City, is part of the first ever-international golf tournament to take place in the Kingdom.
On the sidelines of the tournament, Carey will be joined by international performers, like Dutch DJ Tiesto, Yemeni-Emirati singer Balqees Fathi and Jamaican rapper Sean Paul.
Part of the European Tour, the inaugural Saudi International, powered by SBIA, is taking placing between Jan. 31 and Feb. 3 at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club.
Carey will join the list of the A-list international stars who have performed recently in the Kingdom.
Last month, Enrique Iglesias, the Black Eyed Peas and David Guetta stole the show during a three-day music event held during the inaugural Saudia Ad Diriyah E-Prix in Riyadh. — Agencies
