Warsaw, Poland — A large crowd of Iranian diaspora members and supporters held a rally on Wednesday as foreign ministers and senior officials from 60 nations gathered for a two-day conference in the Polish capital to ratchet up pressure on Iran.

Addressing the rally of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, former mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani demanded tougher policy against the regime and its violation of human rights.

The Iranians called on those attending the conference to condemn ongoing human rights violations in Iran, adopt a firm policy against the regime, take practical actions to counter the regime’s terrorism, recognize the people’s right to overthrow the Mullahs’ dictatorship.

The two-day ministerial conference, hosted jointly by the US State Department and Polish Foreign Ministry, is focusing on Iran’s meddling in the Middle East and how this has led to instability and terrorism. — Agencies
