MOSCOW — Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Bin Al-Issa met Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and exchanged experiences and views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

The meeting, which was attended by leading religious figures, witnessed fruitful bilateral discussions between the two sides. Patriarch Kirill expressed his happiness with the visit, commending the enlightened role being played by Secretariat of the Muslim World League.

Dr. Al-Issa pointed out that this meeting would be the beginning of an effective and important cooperation; after that he witnessed with Patriarch Kirill the signing of a cooperation agreement between MWL and the Patriarchate of Moscow and all Russia. — SPA
