MINA — Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Abdullatif Al-Asheikh received in his office in Al-Khaif mosque in Mina the director of the police in Auckland, Naila Hassan, who has been invited to perform the Haj as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Hajj and Umrah guest program.

Al-Asheikh, who is supervising the program, said Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman is giving special attention to his 6,300 guests who have come from 73 different countries.

As part of the program, the king has invited the victims and families of the massacre of the Christchurch mosques in New Zealand.

"We in the Kingdom were deeply hurt by what happened to our Muslim brothers in New Zealand. I hope that the Muslims will not take revenge for their tragedy and will work hand in hand with their compatriots to build the nation. The violence against Muslims in New Zealand was a proof that terrorism has no religion or sect.

"Islam orders us to be merciful to all the human beings regardless of their beliefs. Being true to these teachings, the Kingdom extends a helping hand to all other countries of the world," he said.
