Elm developing E-Wallet service for Saudi digital infrastructure

DUBAI – Elm has revealed its upcoming financial technology product during its participation at GITEX 2019. The E-Wallet service is currently being developed in coordination with the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) in support of the Financial Sector Development Program launched in line with the “Saudi Vision 2030”.

The program is part of the digital infrastructure development in the Kingdom aimed at reaching all segments of the community. Elm said that the E-Wallet service application would be able to verify the data of its registered users automatically. Also, the app will provide users with virtual bank account numbers and an option to open multiple sub-accounts. The service will be linked to their bank accounts to help them maximize all the offered services.

Users can also use the flexible digital and reliable e-wallet, which can be downloaded on their smart devices, to purchase products anywhere, anytime. Through the service, Elm aims to deliver a unique customer experience by leveraging its years of proven expertise in financial technology.

Elm’s offerings are designed to help accelerate the Digital Transformation of Saudi Arabia and the whole of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and provide the government and private sectors with the finest smart services.

GITEX was an ideal platform to enhance the Elm's global expansion regarding the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Elm said the 39th edition of the exhibition allowed the company to demonstrate its expertise and commitment to meet the highest quality standards. These included “Elm Analytics Platform,” “Elm Health Information System, “Seraj” Smart Consulting Integrated System for Intelligent PMO, and the Integrated Transport System.
