AD-DIRIYAH — From Within art exhibition, organized by Ministry of Culture, concluded with 25 artists from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and international countries wowing the crowd that visited the exhibition from Dec. 8 to 26 here.

The artworks at the exhibition were results of profound concepts and raised questions about the relationship between architecture and human behavior, and how human experiences and the nature of society reflected on the substance of civilization development in the Kingdom.

Through a range of diverse works that included paintings and installations the artists sought to explore the ways that architecture, building methods and its arts stimulate feelings and emotions.

From Within received a tremendous public response and was visited by a large number of art enthusiasts from the Kingdom, the Gulf countries and the world.

The exhibition gained acceptance among various groups of society, with its innovative works that focused on patterns of human behavior related to architecture and the ability to observe human behaviors throughout time, and all that is related to social connections in patterns of architecture.

Through the exhibition, the ministry aims to support the prosperity of the cultural and artistic scene in the Kingdom by establishing a unified and stabilized system.

It also seeks to promote Saudi contemporary artists, talented individuals, and relevant institutions in the sectors of the arts that are interested in developing talent, creativity, and innovation among the Saudi youth to achieve sustainable growth in this essential and prosperous sector.

The exhibition embodies the cultural transformation witnessed by the Kingdom, and it reinforces its position as an international art destination. It is also part of a comprehensive plan developed by the ministry to transform Ad-Diriyah into a contemporary arts region exhibiting art from the Kingdom and the globe. — SG
