Saudi Arabia reports 8 new deaths and 435 infections

RIYADH —
With eight new fatalities reported in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, the death toll across the Kingdom since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic stood at 73. The total number of confirmed cases also rose by 435 to reach 5,369, the Ministry of Health said.

The number of recoveries stood at 889, Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdel Ali told a regular press briefing here.

A total of 114 new cases were reported in Riyadh, 111 in Makkah, 69 in Dammam, 50 in Madinah, and 46 in Jeddah, the ministry said. There were 16 cases in Hufof, 10 in Buraidah, seven in Dhahran, four in Tabuk, one each in Hail, Kharj, Al-Khobar, Samtah, Bisha, Abha, Al-Baha and Taif, the spokesman added.
