RIYADH — “MAWID” service is now available free of charge for browsing without consuming data whether via an app or website, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) cited the Ministry of Health as announcing Saturday.

The ministry said that it is carrying out this project in cooperation with the Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC).

The user can conduct a COVID-19 test by self-assessment to check his health condition in terms of coronavirus symptoms.

The Health Ministry has appealed to all companies and the private sector in general to urge their employees and workers to access “MAWID” service and conduct a self-assessment. This is meant to ensure that all staff of companies and firms are safe.

The ministry has stressed that the service is very important and is available to all individuals in society whether citizens or expatriates, in Arabic and English.

The ministry drew attention to the fact that a person can conduct a self-assessment daily to check his health condition and even for those around him, to ensure their safety.

It is noteworthy that the self-assessment service is in tandem with the precautionary measures and awareness initiatives to counter the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), prevent the transmission of any infection and protect the health and safety of the citizens and residents.
