Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — The Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) and the Saudi Universities Sports Federation (SUSF) have announced the winners of Baytak Nadeek challenge aimed at getting university students across the country physically active as part of the Quality of Life Program and Vision 2030.

The first-ever collaboration between the two entities proved to be an extreme success with more than 1,000 entries.

SUSF awarded 10 students an iPhone 11 Pro, based on their photo and video entries of home workouts posted across Instagram or Twitter tagging both federations and using the hashtag #بيتك_ناديك.

The winners came from several different universities across Saudi Arabia including Madinah, Al-Jouf, Jeddah, Jubail, and Riyadh.

The April 14-26 competition was open for students from both private and public universities. Students shared a variety of workouts from yoga to martial arts, weight training routines, HIIT workouts, soccer drills, jump rope technique, daily walks, and runs at home.

The two federations held initial collaborative discussions in early February, with the Baytak Nadeek Challenge marking the first joint cooperative activation between the two entities aimed at increasing physical activity participation in youth, and also to motivate students to remain active during the quarantine period.
