SHARJAH — Young bookworms pushing massive trolleys packed with books, educational materials and more, in between endless rows of immaculately set up publisher kiosks across the halls hosting over a thousand publishers for the 39th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) – sends out several positive messages, but most importantly, affirms that the love for reading and exploration of different worlds through the written word is never going out of style.
At SIBF 2020, the old-world charm of sifting through piles of books is being enjoyed in a vibrant environment. Socially responsible visitors, including tiny tots sporting face masks and practicing physical distancing as advised by their vigilant parents, are all celebrating a browse-n-buy spree. After all, there’s no such thing as too many books.
