SADAFCO marks graduation of 9 trainees In 4th cycle of HIWPT program

JEDDAH — Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) announced the graduation of trainees in its 4th cycle of training program in partnership with the Higher Institute for Water and Power Technologies (HIWPT).

The ceremony took place on Nov. 12, 2020, which witnessed the graduation of 9 trainees, who immediately were employed by SADAFCO after graduation.

The program is a partnership with the Higher Institute for Water and Power Technologies (HIWPT) to develop the technical national manpower to meet the company’s actual needs in the fields of maintenance and operation.

The program began in 2017, covered necessary skills required across mechanical, electrical and refrigeration disciplines, to compliment the company’s needs.

The program has successfully trained 56 young Saudis since the beginning, with 39 currently holding permanent positions accross SACAFCO’s different facilities.

“Through our collaboration with HIWPT, we are honored to support and enhance the skills of the trainees who will play a key role in driving growth across the country,” Talal Al-Nounou, manager – human resources, government and public relations.

He added, “The program has played a key role in supporting strengthening human capital in the country and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership with the Higher Institute for Water and Power Technologies (HIWPT)”.
