RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health recorded on Thursday 181 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 360,516.

According to the Ministry of Health, 11 more patients died due to complications caused by the virus over the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 6,091.

The ministry also reported 173 new recoveries over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 351,365, with the recovery rate climbing to 97.46 percent.

The Riyadh region recorded the highest number of infections with 45, followed by the Makkah region with 37 and the Eastern region with 26 cases.

The remaining cases were detected in different other regions of the Kingdom.

With the steady fall in new infections, the active cases in the Kingdom also dropped to 3,060 out of which 453 were critical cases.
