RIYADH — The Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met here Sunday with the Head of European Union Delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman Ambassador Patrick Simonnet.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of mutual interest related to relief and humanitarian affairs. Ambassador Simonnet praised KSrelief's professional mechanism, its preparation and coordination of humanitarian and relief programs, and its support for the needy in various countries of the world.
KSrelief distributes 256 tons
of food baskets in Socotra
In Socotra, Yemen, KSrelief distributed Saturday 256 tons and 800 kilograms of food baskets to the needy families in Socotra Governorate, Yemen, benefiting 14,400 people.
This comes within the framework of the relief and humanitarian projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the KSrelief, for the Yemeni people in all Yemeni regions.
KSrelief launches 2nd phase
of winter clothes project
In Aden, KSrelief launched here Saturday the second phase of the winter clothes project for 2,000 displaced families from Taiz and Al-Dhale Governorates, Yemen, where 2,000 winter bags, containing 4 blankets, 4 jackets and 4 sweaters, will be distributed to about 12,000 displaced people from the two governorates.
This comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for the Yemeni people. — SPA
