Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has ordered for the transfer of Yemeni Siamese twins "Yousuf and Yassin” from Yemen to Riyadh for their medical examination and possible surgery to separate them.

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has ordered for the transfer of Yemeni Siamese twins "Yousuf and Yassin” from Yemen to Riyadh for their medical examination and possible surgery to separate them, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

In a statement carried by SPA, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, adviser at the royal court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), who is also the head of the medical team specialized in separating Siamese twins, announced that the twins are expected to arrive within the next few days along with their parents.

Dr. Al-Rabeeah said that this humanitarian gesture from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is an extension of his many humanitarian stances for the needy in Saudi Arabia, the Arab, the Islamic world, and the world at large.

He added that King Salman has directed to pay utmost care of the twins and the speed of their transfer.
