MONTEVIDEO — The Uruguay-based Islamic Center’s General Secretary Ibrahim El-Desouky Al-Alfi praised the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Ramadan breakfast and dates distribution programs, noting that Saudi Arabia has managed to continue feeding the needy despite the global spread of coronavirus pandemic.
The Ramadan breakfast and dates distribution programs are implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in more than 24 countries around the world.
Al-Alfi thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their support for Muslims in Uruguay and various countries every year.
He cited the humanitarian and charitable projects and programs being implemented by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs in the Latin American continent. — SPA
