MAKKAH The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has set specific time for men and women worshipers to visit the Hijr Ismail or Hateem close to the Holy Kaaba in Makkah. According to the authority, each visitor will be allowed to spend a maximum time of 10 minutes within the facility.

The authority explained that the entry time for men starts from eight in the morning until eleven in the morning, while the evening period is allocated for women’s entry from eight in the evening until two in the early morning. Entry to Hateem will be through the western gate designated for this area.

Hijr Ismail or Hateem is a semicircular structure in the shape of a low wall on the northern side of Kaaba. It is originally part of the Kaaba as the space lying between the Hateem and the Kaaba belonged to the Kaaba itself at one time.

The authority stressed the importance of visitors adhering to the instructions and specified entry times to ensure smooth movement and optimal organization of the visit. These efforts come within the framework of the authority's keenness to provide the best services to the guests of God and provide a unique spiritual experience in the vicinity of the Holy Kaaba.
