1.7 million e-notarizations in 3 months saving millions of papers

RIYADH — The Ministry of Justice said Tuesday that 1.7 million e-notarization operations were performed in the past three months.

The digital services were offered through Najiz.sa platform, sparing clients visits to notarial offices.

“There were more than 926K operations related to notarization of PoAs’, as well as canceling around 167K PoAs’,” explained the ministry.

“Property related notarization services also reached more than 512K requests, in addition to 10K company contracts notarizations.”

The digital transformation in notarial services were launched by the ministry in order to create ease and efficiency for service delivery in the judicial sector.

It helped clients perform those services without having to visit any judicial entity and contributed to the environment by reducing the use of approximately 8 million papers annually. — SG
