Private hospital in Madinah shuttered for violations: MoH

RIYADH —
The Ministry of Health (MoH) has shut down a private hospital in Madinah for not complying with the ministry’s guidelines.

In a statement on its official Twitter account, the health ministry the move was prompted by a number of violations committed by the erring hospital.

In the statement, the ministry pointed out the following notable violations:

— Absence of the minimum number of health staff

— Inadequate application of infection control standards

— Failure to maintain the building

The ministry added in the statement that officials responsible for violations have been referred to professional practice councils.
