RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman has visited on Tuesday the headquarters of the Royal Saudi Land Forces in Riyadh.
Upon his arrival, an official reception ceremony was held to welcome him. He was received by the Chief of the General Staff, General Fayyadh Al-Ruwaili, and the Commander of the Land Forces, General Fahad Al-Mutair.
The deputy defense minister was briefed on the readiness of the Royal Saudi Land Forces and the development and modernization they have reached in terms of armament and training.
Prince Khalid said in a tweet: “I witnessed the level of readiness that these forces have reached in terms of development and modernization in armaments and training, in a way that enhances the efficiency of the combat system of all the armed forces branches.”
The visit comes in implementation of the directives of the Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense. — SPA
