RIYADH — Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing announced Thursday the signing of the executive program for joint cooperation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs of the Republic of India.

The program aims to activate the terms of the memorandum of understanding previously signed between the two countries in the areas of urban planning, construction and sustainable development in the housing sector.

Prince Saud Bin Talal Bin Badr, the ministry's undersecretary for Customer trial and Customer Services, and the supervisor general of the General Department of Institutional Partnerships and International Cooperation represented the ministry in the signing ceremony, while the Indian Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs was represented by the Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom Dr. Ausaf Sayeed.

Marking the occasion, the Indian Ambassador praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries. He also stressed the importance in the exchange of expertise and research in the fields of housing and real estate development between the two countries. — SPA
