RIYADH — “World for Everyone” is officially inaugurated by Dr. Ali Mohammed Al Doweriej, director general of veterinary health and monitoring, Ministry of Environment Water & Agriculture. Following the inauguration, Dr. Ali stressed on the importance of World Animal Day, saying “Animal welfare is everyone's responsibility.”

LuLu Hypermarket in Saudi Arabia launched a ‘Cat Show’, celebrating our pets and their importance in our lives.

The promotion runs from Oct. 4 to 10, 2021. across various LuLu Hypermarkets and starts with a loud meow, as there will be a cat show in LuLu Hypermarket, Yarmouk in Riyadh, Ahsa, Khobar, and Jeddah where cat-owners can show off their pets and win exciting prizes for them!

“The idea is to promote animal well-being and LuLu’s vision of a world where all animals live free from suffering and where pets are cherished,” said Shehim Mohammed, director of LuLu Hypermarkets Saudi Arabia.

“To this end, LuLu will showcase the latest in pet care: from pet foods that help set the nutritional standards for pets to pet care products for good grooming and health, as well as pet accessories that perk up your pet-pampering routines and also your pets’ appearances.”

There will be special promotions and deals on all these items.

The line-up of events includes participation of animal welfare societies like Rahma Association and the Riyadh Shelter in LuLu Hypermarket, Atyaf Mall, Yarmouk in Riyadh and the presence of representatives from Ministry of Environment Water and Agriculture, King Saud University, Saudi Art Association.

At LuLu Hypermarket, Al Ahsa, Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture officials will attend. They have also whole heartedly extended their support to the promotion at other locations – Khobar and Jeddah.
