DUBAI — The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police Lt. Gen. Abdullah Khalifa Al-Marri has visited the pavilion of the Saudi Ministry of Interior participating in 2021 GITEX, which is being held in Dubai between Oct. 17 and 21.
Lt. Gen. Al-Marri was received by the Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Interior for Security Capabilities Eng. Abdullah Al-Rabiah. He was briefed on the unified platform that combines all the ministry's security and services agencies.
The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police commended the development of e-services being offered by the Saudi Ministry of Interior, expressing hope to enhance cooperation between the security sectors of the two countries.
Earlier, the Director General of Abu Dhabi Police Maj. Gen. Maktoum Ali Al-Sharifi too visited the Saudi Pavilion at GITEX 2021. Maj, Gen. Al-Sharifi was welcomed by Prince Dr. Bandar Bin Abdullah Bin Mishari, assistant interior minister for technology affairs.
Maj. Gen. Al-Sharifi was briefed on the Ministry’s platform that combines all security and services agencies in the Ministry, as well as the e-services that are offered by several sectors participating in the Ministry’s pavilion.
He was also briefed on the advanced level achieved by the Ministry of Interior and its sectors in technological and electronic services.
Maj. Gen. Al-Sharifi praised the great progress of e-services offered by the Ministry, voicing aspiration to further enhance cooperation between security sectors in the two countries. — SPA
