Gabonese president affirms the importance of FII

RIYADH — Gabonese President Ali Bongo affirmed that the existing relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Gabon extends for nearly four centuries, wishing that this relationship between the two countries would continue and flourish.

Speaking at the Future Investment Initiative (FII), which was held in Riyadh Tuesday, he disclosed that his country is committed to a green economy, asserting that the Kingdom Vision 2030 represents a clear map with its strength.

The Gabonese president pointed out that it is appropriate to work together to find solutions to help the world overcome challenges resulting from climate change, including the process of economic transformation, asserting that everybody is looking forward to the success of the Saudi Green Initiative and the Middle East Green Initiative. — SPA
