Crown Prince, Macron, and Mikati hold joint phone talks

Saudi Arabia, France agree with Lebanon for joint work to boost its reforms, stability

JEDDAH –
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, held phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister of Lebanon Najib Mikati. During the talks, the three leaders agreed to work together to support the required comprehensive reforms in Lebanon.

The Crown Prince and Macron also reiterated the keenness of Saudi Arabia and France on the security and stability of Lebanon.

On his part, Mikati appreciated the great efforts being made by the Kingdom and France to stand by the Lebanese people.

He also reaffirmed the commitment of the Lebanese government to do everything that would help strengthen relations with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states while rejecting everything that would harm their security and stability.
