AL-DHALE, Yemen — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 304 tons and 950 kilograms of food baskets to the displaced people and the needy families in Al-Dhale governorate of Yemen on Thursday. The aid benefited 17,100 people.
This comes within the project to support food security 2021-2022, which is being implemented by the KSrelief in Yemen, and aims to distribute more than 192,000 food baskets weighing more than 20,000 tons to the needy and affected families in 15 Yemeni governorates.
Supported by KSrelief, the Emergency Center for Epidemic Control has provided treatment services for patients in Hajjah governorate of Yemen.
During the period from November 25 to December 1, 2021, the Emergency Center received 1,915 patients with various health conditions and provided them with necessary medical services.
The clinics provided 898 individuals with medications.
Meanwhile, KSrelief distributed on Thursday 74 tons and 200 kilograms of food baskets to the people affected by floods and needy families in River Nile State, Sudan, benefiting 14,800 people.
This comes within the framework of the humanitarian aid being provided by Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to support the food security for the Sudanese people. — SPA
