RIYADH — Yemeni Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri praised the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the Yemeni government and people in all fields.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), on the sidelines of his participation in Arab Social Affairs Ministers Conference hosted by Riyadh, Dr. Al-Zaouri stressed that the Kingdom is one of the largest donors and supporters of Yemen at all aspects.
He commended its role in the success of the Conference of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, the Conference of Ministers of Development and Social Affairs and the Forum for the Management of Social Transformations for Arab Ministers of Social Affairs (MOST) that were hosted by Riyadh from Dec. 20 to 23, 2021.
The event was held under the theme "Various Impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic”, the first of its kind regionally to discuss means to recover from "COVID-19" and support Arab efforts to continue implementing the Sustainable Development Plan 2030.
Also, he said the Yemeni government is keen to sustain coordination and cooperation with the GCC member states and international donors, welcoming all efforts that would support the Yemeni government and people. — SPA
