CAIRO — The Arab Parliament has condemned the continuation of terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia toward Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was the launching of three drones targeting the southern region of the Kingdom. The coalition forces supporting legitimacy in Yemen successfully intercepted the drones.

In a statement Sunday, the Arab Parliament called on the international community to act urgently and work immediately to stop supplying the terrorist Houthi militia with weapons it uses in its military operations against civilians and innocents, stressing that the continuation of the Houthi militia in its terrorist acts proves that it is not ready to participate in efforts to resolve the crisis in Yemen peacefully.

The Parliament held the Iranian regime fully responsible for all terrorist acts carried out by the militia, and its insistence on spreading chaos, sabotage and destruction in the Arab region by supplying it with smart weapons, ballistic missiles, drones, experts and military advisors to serve its expansionist project and subversive agenda in the region.

The Arab Parliament reiterated its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia regarding all measures it is taking to confront these terrorist attacks, stressing that the attacks undermine security and stability in the region and constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, as well as a clear violation of the Stockholm Agreement to ceasefire.

Meanwhile, Egypt has condemned the Houthi militia's continuation of terrorist attacks on Saudi Arabia.

In a statement Sunday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the repeating of these attacks by the Houthi militia is a threat to the security and stability of the Kingdom and a flagrant violation of the rules of international law.

Egypt expressed its full solidarity with the Kingdom and offered full support to the measures it is taking to confront these terrorist attacks, while underlining the close bond between the security and stability of the two countries. — SPA
