RIYADH — The National eLearning Center is scheduled to organize the international conference on “eLearning for Human Capability Development” between Jan. 24 and 27, 2022 in Riyadh, with the participation of renowned international experts from various countries,

The conference will be held under the patronage of Minister of Education and Chairman of the Center Dr. Hamad Bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh.

The conference will have a look at the future of electronic education and learning in Saudi Arabia and its impact on the human development in the sector to enable national staff for competing in the local and international labor markets.

The event seeks to review international expertise and experiments related to innovation in utilizing electronic education and learning to develop human capabilities from various countries.

It will discuss top challenges related to developing human capabilities and opportunities for electronic education and learning, and shed light on innovation in utilizing electronic education and learning for developing the human capabilities with the participation of international experts.

This is in addition to discussing means to enhance and develop new skills and life-long learning through reviewing the experiments of UNESCO, International Labor Organization, the European Union, India and other countries, as well as shedding light on top strategies of educational platforms and reviewing the experiments of platforms such as edX, Coursera and FutureLearn in enhancing skills and meeting the future demands.

The conference will be discussing flexible courses and micro certificates and their roles in enhancing skills and contributing to matching between educational outcomes and labor market requirements through electronic education and training as one of the most enablers of the development of the human capabilities to keep pace with the accelerating needs and future requirements.
