AMMAN — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Sunday continued distributing winter bags and clothes to needy Jordanian families as well as Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Jordan.
The distributed aid included 2,400 blankets and 1,200 winter bags benefiting 1,200 families in a number of Jordanian governorates.
This aid comes within the framework of the winter kits project being implemented by Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the poor families by meeting their basic needs to protect them from the harsh winter.
Meanwhile, KSrelief distributed Sunday 65 tons and 56 kilograms of food baskets in Madinah Directorate of Marib Governorate, Yemen, benefiting 3,904 people.
The project, being implemented by KSrelief, aims to distribute more than 192,000 food baskets weighing more than 20,000 tons to needy and affected families in 15 Yemeni governorates.
On Sunday, KSrelief continued to distribute food and shelter aid to the neediest families in Afghanistan.
It distributed 31 tons and 284 kilograms of aid that included 474 food baskets, 948 flour bags, 474 winter bags and 474 blankets, in Qala-e-Fathullah district of Kabul, benefiting 474 families.
The aid comes as a part of the Saudi relief land bridge dispatched by KSrelief to support the Afghan people. — SPA
