ALULA - The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) in partnership with RATP Group has launched the first autonomous electric pod to transport visitors to and from the Old Town of AlUla.

The autonomous electric pod offers smart mobility solutions to enhance the residents and visitors experiences, RCU said, indicating that it can accommodate about 30 passengers.

The RCU confirmed that launching the autonomous electric pod comes as part of the road trip towards sustainability to preserve the natural and cultural heritage in AlUla.
