Minister of Islamic Affairs: Kingdom seeks to serve Islam and Muslims around world

RIYADH — Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh affirmed that Saudi Arabia devotes its efforts in serving Islam, stressing its great efforts to spread moderate Islam and serve the Muslims around the world.

This came in a press statement following the opening of the 34th Virtual Annual Conference for Muslims of Latin America and the Caribbean, organized by the Islamic Call Center in Brazil in collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, under the title "Waqf and its Role in Serving Muslim Communities".

The representatives from the Brazilian government and a number of scholars, academics, intellectual and students from a number of countries participated in the two-day conference.

The minister attended the closing ceremony of the virtual conference. The two-day conference hosted a number of scholars, thinkers and Islamic personalities from 30 countries. — SPA
