Sixth Batch of Holy Qur’an copies delivered to Egypt

CAIRO — On behalf of Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance for Islamic Affairs Sheikh Awad Bin Sabti Al-Enezi delivered the sixth batch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift of 100,000 copies of the Holy Qur’an here.

The Qur’an copies were delivered at the headquarters of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Cairo Sunday. The Qur’an copies of various sizes and interpretations were handed over to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The event was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Osama Bin Ahmed Nugali and representatives of Al-Azhar, the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments, and Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta.

Ambassador Nugali said that the gift is a reflection of the historical relations and continuous cooperation between the two countries.

It also reflects the joint cooperation, consultation, and coordination, between the sides through cooperation between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Al-Azhar, the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments, and Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta. — SPA
