RIYADH — The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has expressed its sincere appreciation to King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) for its efforts in supporting education around the world.
In a statement issued on the occasion of the International Day of Education, UNICEF hailed its partnership with KSrelief, stressing that the partnership will contribute to ensuring education for children globally.
KSrelief has implemented various humanitarian programs and projects in the educational sector in needy and vulnerable countries in cooperation with UNICEF.
It includes supporting children’s access to quality education opportunities, ensuring the continuity of the educational process in light of the coronavirus pandemic, providing school bags and supplies, psychological and social rehabilitation programs for children.
Moreover, the strategic cooperation between the two sides includes the health, water, and environmental sanitation fields and several vital sectors. —SPA
