MADINAH — The President of the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais inaugurated 12,000 acrylic carpets at the squares of the Prophet’s Mosque on Tuesday.
The carpets were made locally by national competencies with accurate technical standards and special terms through manufacturing the best kinds of carpet in the world so visitors and worshipper feel comfortable upon visiting the Prophet’s Mosque.
The carpet, which is especially made for the squares of the Prophet’s Mosque, is characterized by its thickness and durability for heavy use, in addition to having plenty of soft wool and enjoying height and fixed colors that do not get affected with recurrent wash.
The carpet was also equipped with RFID. It means that it is connected to an e-system containing carpet information since its manufacturing, its uses, location and times of wash.
This is in addition to counting the number of carpets and identifying each sample separately through printing the item data on a barcode that allows tracing carpets easily and knowing full details about the transfer of carpets within the Prophet’s Mosque and its squares. — SPA
