MAKKAH — The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has implemented the periodic maintenance for the Black Stone as part of preparations for the Ramadan season for 1443 Hijri.

The Under-Secretary-General for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque Dr. Saad Bin Mohammed Al-Muhaimid said that the Presidency of the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque supervises all works of the Holy Kaabah and all its relevant elements in coordination and integration with various specialized departments of the presidency and other stakeholders concerned with the Grand Mosque.

He also referred to using the latest technologies and best materials according to the international standards with up-to-date methods and professional ways in implementing works of the Holy Kaabah and relevant elements.

He noted that a qualified and specialized technical team implements these works through modern advanced methods, where the technical team applies the highest standards of accuracy and quality in a record time to complete the mission with maintaining the precautionary measures.

Al-Muhaimid noted that these works embodies the concern of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince, in the Two Holy Mosques, mainly the Holy Kaabah, for it has a great status in the hearts of Muslims, stressing that this has been the approach of all successive leaders of this country. —SPA
