Saudi Gazette Report

RIYADH —
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced on Wednesday that it has lifted the travel ban for Saudis to Thailand.

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has confirmed the decision also included allowing Thais to enter the Kingdom.

In its statement, the Jawazat called on citizens wishing to travel outside the Kingdom to preserve their passports and not to mortgage it, neglect it, or to place it in unsafe places.

It is noteworthy that after a 32-year dispute between the two countries, Saudi Arabia and Thailand agreed on Jan. 25, 2022, to fully restore diplomatic ties, and decided to exchange ambassadors.
