Joint Saudi-Jordanian exercise ‘Sahab 4’ kicks off

RIYADH — The joint Saudi-Jordanian exercise "Sahab 4" was launched Sunday in the northwest region, in the presence of Commander of the northwest region Maj. Gen. Hussain Bin Saeed Al-Qahtani, and a number of senior officers of the armed forces from both sides.

Al-Qahtani valued the participation of the brotherly Jordanian forces in the exercise, expressing his thanks to all the participants in the exercise for their efforts in the planning and preparation phases for the pre-exercise, wishing them success in achieving the objectives of the exercise.

For his part, Commander of the exercise Lt. Col. Eng. Melfi Bin Saeed Al-Zaher said that the exercise will be carried out in two phases, the first phase includes theoretical training, in which lessons and lectures will be provided to the participants.

The second phase includes field training within special fields of defense against weapons of mass destruction. — SPA
