Lt. Gen. Al-Ruwaili heads powerful defense delegation to DIMDEX 2022 in Doha

DOHA — Chief of General Staff of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces Lt. Gen. Fayyad Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, accompanied by Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces Lt. Gen. Fahd Bin Abdullah Al-Ghufaili, and a number of senior Defense Ministry officers attended the opening ceremony of Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2022) Monday.

The Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference is being held here under the patronage of Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani.

On the sidelines of DIMDEX 2022, held under the theme "Connecting the World’s Maritime Defense and Security Community", Lt. Gen. Al-Ruwaili met with Dr. Khalid Bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, deputy prime minister and minister of state for defense affairs of Qatar.

HE also met with Staff Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Salem Bin Hamad Bin Mohammed Bin Aqeel Al Nabit, chief of staff of the Qatari Armed Forces.

During the two meetings, they reviewed the relations of military and defense cooperation between the two brotherly countries, praising the success of DIMDEX 2022. They also discussed a number of issues of common interest. — SPA
