MAKKAH — Fragrance and incense are the first sensory perceptions that visitors of the Grand Mosque have as the holy site is systematically scented during the holy month of Ramadan.

The General Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques sprays these perfumes during the holy month by using more than 20 incense devices that will be increased to 60 in the final 10 days of Ramadan.

As for the Holy Kaaba, it is perfumed with luxurious Oud oil upon each prayer, starting from the Black Stone, the Yemeni corner, Al-Multazem and the Holy Kaaba Gate. — SPA
