King Salman receives Turkish president

JEDDAH —
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received on Thursday Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Jeddah, during his first visit to Saudi Arabia since 2017.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also welcomed Erdogan in Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.



An official reception ceremony was held for the President of Turkey, where the national anthems of the two countries were played.

After that, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques accompanied the President to the main reception hall at the Royal Court.

King Salman welcomed the President and his accompanying delegation in the Kingdom. In turn, the Turkish President expressed his happiness to visit the Kingdom and meet with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques held an official dinner banquet in honor of the Turkish President.
