TUNIS — Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) has participated in the 53rd session of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action, organized by the General Secretariat of Arab League, and hosted by Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) in the capital, Tunis.

The session discussed topics related to Arab food security, the repercussions and impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war on the Arab economy and climate changes.

It also discussed preparing the Arab strategy for cybersecurity and studying the establishment of an Arab information center for the cyber threat, in addition to a follow-up report on the implementation of the decisions of the 52nd session hosted by NAUSS in Riyadh last January.

On the occasion, NAUSS President Dr. Abdulmajeed Bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan stressed in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the university, in its capacity as the scientific body of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, reviewed a paper in which it affirmed the great interest in the issue of food security in the Arab world, while studying global changes in food supplies to Arab countries. — SPA
