First group of Turkish pilgrims arrives in Makkah

MAKKAH — The first group of Turkish pilgrims, comprising 290 people, arrived on Sunday in Makkah for this year’s Hajj.

Turkish Consul General in Jeddah Mete Zaimoğlu praised the level of services extended to the pilgrims by the government of Saudi Arabia, which allow them to perform the Hajj easily. He was referring to the qualitative services and projects that Makkah, Madinah and holy sites witness year after year. — SPA
