Tatif hails Saudi preparations for receiving Thai Pilgrims

MAKKAH — The Deputy Head of the Office of Thai Pilgrims Affairs Basri Tatif praised the Kingdom’s measures taken to receive Thai pilgrims during this year’s Hajj, as the first group of the Thai pilgrims arrived in Makkah from Madinah.

He stressed that the Thai pilgrims expressed their high appreciation to the Kingdom, which spared no effort in providing all support that would facilitate the pilgrims to perform their rituals in peace until their safe return to their country.

For his part, the official spokesman for the Tawafa pilgrims company in Southeast Asia, the supervisor of the board of pilgrims of China, Thailand, and the Philippines, Mahmoud Damanhouri, stressed that the company is keen to implement the highest standards set by the competent authorities.

The company to achieve the commitment of pilgrims to the schedules and times of movement of groups in the holy sites in order to ensure the safety of pilgrims and their ease of movement and ensure a safe and smooth Hajj season.
