Tunisian president commends Saudi Arabia’s efforts in organizing Hajj season

TUNIS — Tunisian President Kais Saied has commended Saudi Arabia’s efforts in organizing the Hajj season and developing the level of services offered to pilgrims year after year.

The president, in a speech while bidding farewell to the first batch of his country’s pilgrims at the Tunis-Carthage International Airport, said: “Major projects at the holy sites helped facilitate the rituals of Hajj and enabled guests to perform their rituals easily and with tranquility.”

The ceremony to see off the first batch of Tunisian pilgrims, amounting to 253 pilgrims, was attended by Tunisian Minister of Religious Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Chaibi, Tunisian Minister of Transport Rabie Majidi and Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqer.

Al-Saqer said Saudi Arabia is honored in serving pilgrims and providing them with all possible means to perform their rituals in atmospheres full of tranquility and belief. — SPA
