Jordan confers highest civilian award on Crown Prince

AMMAN — Jordanian King Abdullah II presented Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman with the Order of Al-Hussein Bin Ali, the country’s highest civilian honor, which is granted to kings, presidents and other heads of state.

Crown Prince Mohammed arrived in Jordan on Tuesday on the second leg of his regional tour, after spending the previous day in Cairo, Egypt.

Upon arrival at Queen Alia international Airport in Amman, he was welcomed by Jordanian King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah.

The two leaders held a bilateral meeting and wide-ranging talks at Al-Husseiniya Palace. — SG
