Prince Abdulaziz monitors readiness of Hajj security forces

MAKKAH — Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, who is also Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, was reassured of the readiness of Hajj security forces to carry out their tasks in maintaining the security and safety of pilgrims.

This came during his patronage of the ceremony organized by the Hajj security forces participating in Hajj this year 1443 H.

In a speech during the ceremony, the Director of Public Security and Head of the Hajj Security Committee Lt. Gen. Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al-Basami affirmed the readiness of the security forces to perform their duties to maintain the security and safety of pilgrims and facilitate their performance of rituals.

He indicated that the forces have begun their duties in Makkah, Madinah, the Holy Sites, all ports, and on all roads leading to Hajj areas.

In the presence of the Minister of Interior, the Hajj security forces conducted a number of security hypotheses, demonstrating the high professionalism of the security officers, and paraded special vehicles, armored vehicles and security aviation.

The ceremony was attended by Prince Saud Bin Khalid Al-Faisal, deputy governor of Madinah Region, and a number of senior officials. — SPA
