JEDDAH —
President Joe Biden has arrived in Jeddah coming from Tel Aviv in the latest stop on his first Middle East tour as the US leader.

At King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was received by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah and advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema Bint Bandar.

After his arrival, Biden moved to Al-Salam Palace, where he was received by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman. He was to hold key talks with King Salman and the Crown Prince.

Biden arrived in the Red Sea port city on the third day of a four-day swing through the Middle East. He spent the first two days meeting with Israeli officials and traveled to the West Bank on Friday to meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and others before flying to Saudi Arabia.

Biden also will take part in Jeddah Summit for Security and Development, which includes leaders from the Gulf Cooperation Council — Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE — and leaders of Mideast neighbors Egypt, Iraq and Jordan before returning to Washington.
